The next time you need an easy appetizer that feels fancy, try these irresistible Ham & Cheese Party Puffs! Savory ham pairs impeccably with rich cream cheese and a blend of grated cheeses, creating a rich and flavorful filling. Seasoned with just the right blend of spices, each bite promises a burst of savory goodness.


Ingredients

  • One package of frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup grated cheese*
  • 1 cup chopped ham
  • 1/8 cup chopped chives or green onion
  • 1 jar red pepper jelly

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F
  2. In a mixing bowl combine softened cream cheese, dry mustard, salt, pepper, grated cheese, chopped ham and chives.
  3. Spread thawed puff pastry on a clean surface and cut it into 24 squares
  4. Place puff pastry squares into each of the muffin tin openings.
  5. Put about a tablespoon of the ham and cheese mixture into each muffin tin.
  6. Bake at 400 F for 15 minutes, until light golden brown.
  7. Top each puff with red pepper jelly.

Notes

  • I like gruyere and sharp cheddar, but you can use any kind of grated cheese
