Don’t let Mother’s Day sneak up on you. I’m back with a new list of favorite products and gift ideas that are great for the special woman in your life (and also for YOU)! I’ve checked out every single item in the 2022 Mother’s Day Gift Guide for Grownups and rounded up a bunch of discount codes and special offers. As always, If it’s not something worth spending my own money on, I would never recommend it.
I love sending a package of love from Spoonful of Comfort. Gifts come beautifully packaged in re-usable cartons, and the soup, rolls and cookies are top-quality. Special packages for Mother’s Day include:
Trust me, you’ve never had popcorn like this. The OpopPop Cups Discovery Kit is made for snacking greatness. Each kit includes a microwave popcorn popper and lid, plus 3 Pop Cups of four different popcorn flavors (lightly salted, salty caramel, vanilla and like buddha). Simply peel, pour + pop. OR you can customize a gift by choosing the flavors your recipient would like best.
I’m a weirdo. I read cookbooks for fun. Here are a few that I loved:

Solemates Exfoliating Duo includes a Volcanic Exfoliator Tool made from volcanic rock and designed to gently remove dry skin and the Sole Soothe Exfoliating Foot Balm, a rich, overnight foot treatment with a 9% AHA and beta hydroxy acid blend that works to gently exfoliate and smooth skin while you sleep. Wake up to renewed and refreshed feet.
Good Scents Bath Oil Trio – Breathe in the soothing smell of clean with this ultra-calming and safely scented trio, formulated with a blend of avocado and jojoba seed oils that help to leave skin soft and hydrated. Three aromatherapeutic scents provide a relaxing escape for every mood: Invigorate, Clarify, and De-Stress. Just pour into the bath, unplug, and enjoy.
Reflect Effect AHA Smoothing Facial Mask – I’ve been raving about this mask on social media. It’s designed to transform dull, tired skin in just 10 minutes. The bouncy gel formula is supercharged with a unique blend of chemical and physical exfoliants, like AHA glycolic acid and bamboo particles. Plus, hydration-boosting saccharide isomerate soothes skin for an ultra-soft complexion. Use it up to twice a week for effective results, and get ready to show some skin.
Sticks Peace Plaque – You know I love a gift that gives back and if it’s beautiful, all the better. All proceeds from the sale of this 9″ x 9″ plaque are being donated to Unicef in honor of the children impacted by the war in Ukraine.
Able Candles, Jewelry, Purses, & Clothing – Able is one of my favorite brands and their high-quality leather goods, handmade jewelry, apparel, denim, and shoes aren’t just investment pieces for your wardrobe, they are an investment in women around the world. Able partners with women-owned makers in Ethiopia, Brazil, Mexico, China, India, Portugal, and Nashville, Tennessee. Use my link to save 20% on your first Able purchase.
A PAIR Eyewear gift certificate for new glasses or sunglasses (with or without a prescription) is a gift that anyone would appreciate. Base frames with prescription start at $60 and then you can customize them with hundreds of frame toppers that come in every color and style, plus specialty toppers to represent hobbies, sports teams, etc. There is free shipping and returns and a 30-day risk free trial period. Plus PAIR gives back. For ever pair of glasses purchased, PAIR Eyewear partners with The Eyelliance to provide a free pair of glasses to a child in need, and proceeds from sales of their “United With Ukraine” toppers go to HAIS to help with refugee resettlement.
Aera Smart Fragrance Diffuser – I usually only recommend products I’ve personally tried, so I want to flag that this is an exception. I have a couple of essential oil diffusers around the house but I want to swap them out for the Aera. It’s wifi enabled so you can control it from an app (and set a schedule if you desire.) No more remembering to turn it off and on. You can literally set it to run for an hour after dinner to get rid of cooking smells. I love that you can adjust the strength (because as far as I’m concerned, a little fragrance goes a long way) and Aera scents are made from 100% ethically sourced fragrance and essential oils, making them safe for kids and pets. Unlike aerosol sprays, Aera fragrance diffuses a hypoallergenic effect that is free of alcohol or other harmful VOCs. And it comes with a 60-day money back guarantee.
Skylight Digital Picture Frame – I recently helped my mom clean out her house and she had dozens of little picture frames collecting dust. This year, for Mother’s Day, I’m getting her this digital frame so she can easily display ALL of the images in one place. The best part? Everyone in the family can email her new photos and they’ll automatically appear on her frame. I have an “old school” digital frame that I have to load via a flash drive, but this is such an easier option.
If you waited until the last minute and need gifts that’ll ship quickly, I’ve got you! These three gift ideas come from Amazon so you should be able to get them in a day or so.
Heart Earrings – I just ordered these FABULOUS earrings for myself and they’re only $12. Twelve. Dollars. C’mon.
Suitcase Cup Holder — I’m so grateful to be able to travel again. The hubby bought me this dandy travel cup holder that slides on top of a suitcase. It holds all sizes of cups (and water bottles) to free up your hands. The best part? It packs down completely flat and slides into the pocket of your suitcase when you’re done using it. I hate carrying extra stuff when I travel but this thing is a revelation. And it’s only $13. Your mom, sister, or daughter-in-law needs this!
HydroFlask Insulated Bottle – After dragging my favorite water bottle all the way to Uganda and back, I managed to lose it in a cab in Denver. Grrrrrr. I like a 20-ounce bottle with a straw because it fits in the cup holder of my car. HydroFlask markets these brightly colored bottles for kids, but they’re exactly the same quality as the “grownup version” and they’re less expensive. Plus, my theory is that I’m less likely to lose or forget a brightly-colored bottle. I’ll let you know how that works out.
Also, you can find LOTS of other great gift ideas for grownups in my previous gift guides:
