If your browser history includes searching for “when is Father’s Day” you’re not alone. It’s on Sunday June 20, 2021 this year. Today I’m sharing my favorite gift ideas for the fathers and father-figures in your life. Whether you’re shopping for a foodie, fashionista, gardener or sports enthusiast, there’s something for everyone, at every price point. And you won’t find anything here that I was paid to endorse. I’ve checked out every single item in the 2021 Father’s Day Gift Guide for Grownups. If it’s not something worth spending my own money on, I would never recommend it.
Also, you can find LOTS of other great gift ideas in my previous gift guides:
If you live an active lifestyle, you’re likely dealing with some degree of muscle soreness. The bad news is that while exercise is critical, we tend to feel more sore as we get older. That’s where the Ekrin Percussive Massager comes in.
Whether you train at the gym, on the pavement, at the slopes, or in the water, you need the right tools to support your body. You need to keep your joints supple, your muscles strong, and your mind right.
Percussive massage devices work by applying force to your body’s soft tissues. A hammer-like motion sends rapid pulses of pressure into your muscles, affecting the nervous system, circulatory system, and musculoskeletal system.
Physiology explains how massage guns work on the body to relieve pain, reduce soreness and improve performance. After doing a lot of research, we chose the Ekrin Athletics brand because of their great reviews, low price point (much less expensive than a Theragun) and lifetime warranty.
I bought the smallest model, called Bantam, because I wanted something I could easily slide into my purse or backpack when I’m hiking or traveling. It has three speeds, comes with four different attachments and weighs one pound. I use it almost every night and it’s definitely helped reduce muscle soreness and (bonus) it helps relax my tight hips so I’m sleeping better.
The affordable Bantam model has been ideal for our needs but if you want more bells and whistles, there are two other upgraded models that have additional speeds and attachments. You can see a comparison of the three models HERE and choose the one that’s right for you.
And, you’ll save 20% on any of the Ekrin models when you shop with my link.
Help the guys in your life discover a new self-care ritual with some of my favorite clean body care and skin care products.
See all of the options HERE and order soon for delivery before Father’s Day. If you’re a new customer, use code CLEANFORALL20 to save 20% on your entire order. And if you don’t love what you order, there’s a generous 90-day return policy.
Some of my favorite (and my husband’s go-to’s) are:
If you love a nonfiction thriller, Michael Lewis’s book The Premonition is a very compelling read. He’s the author of Liar’s Poker, Moneyball, The Blind Side, and The Big Short. Lewis once again goes inside the fascinating epicenter of a nation in crisis. He explores how the CDC dealt with the pandemic as “he pits a band of medical visionaries against the wall of ignorance that was the official response of the Trump administration to the outbreak of Covid-19.” In case you missed it, listen to Michael Lewis’s recent conversation with Katie Couric on Next Question or check out his interview on 60 Minutes.
Coming in at $10 (for a pack of two) this waterproof phone pouch is a practical deal. Whether you’re heading out for a day at the beach or to get caught in a storm, this pouch is certified to keep your phone and other valuables safe up to 100 feet of water. And, you can use your phone and your camera while it’s in the pouch.
I bought my husband an underwear subscription over a year ago, and I was so impressed with MeUndies quality that I added on a subscription for myself. Read my full review. As you can see from the photo below, there are eight different styles for men, and oh-so-many solids, neutrals and wild prints. You can pause and skip a month whenever you like. And, you get a discount on any additional purchases beyond your subscription. If you’re ever not satisfied, they make returns/exchanges a breeze. Everything we’ve purchased has been very durable (and oh so soft).

Speaking of wild designs, I love these rain jackets for Father’s Day (and I also want one for myself). The bold colored one is fabulous, but they also have more subdued designs.
The hubby and I both love this local Denver brand. Their quality is top-notch and they have constantly rotating designs. We always get stopped on the street when we are wearing their stuff and asked where we bought it.
One of my big takeaways from our Covid quarantine is that it’s worthwhile to have some basic fitness equipment at home (even if you regularly work out at a gym). This doorway pull up bar fits any standard door (without damaging the walls) and allows various grip options. For only $40 it even comes with power ropes to add extra functionality to your workout. And when you’re not using it, it packs flat so you can easily store it under a bed or in a closet.
We purchased our Farmstand in May and it’s been such a fun (and easy) gardening project. I’m recommending it again because I think my husband has had more fun with it than I have.
Farmstand is a self-watering, self-fertilizing hydroponic system that lets you grow organic produce indoors or out. It comes in a variety of sizes — is expandable from 12 to 36 plants. You can purchase the seedlings from Lettuce Grow or use a local hydroponic seedling. There’s an accompanying app that walks you through weekly maintenance, when and how to harvest, and answers common questions. It’s truly idiot-proof gardening.
