If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you know that my love of mason jars runs deep. Just check out the posts for my Rainbow Salad Jars and Refrigerator Pickles along with my many smoothie photos on Instagram if you don’t believe me.
So, imagine my giddy DELIGHT when I walked into my Pilates class a few weeks ago and met a woman named Maggie who had the coolest water bottle made out of a mason jar. It turns out that she and her husband are the owners of Mason Jar Lifestyle, a web site that sells mason and canning jar accessories.
Maggie graciously agreed to let me try a few products and share my reviews with you. And, we are doing a GIVEAWAY of some great mason jar goodies so scroll down for the details.
This silicone lid and koozie turns your mason jar into a traveling bottle. Great for water, smoothies or any beverage, the silicone holder ensures that the glass doesn’t sweat when transporting hot or cold liquids. Bonus points for being both microwave and dishwasher safe.
I also tried the glass straw pictured with this photo. As with most reusable straws you need a special brush to clean it, but my fears about it breaking or cracking were unfounded. They also sell a variety of metal straws and straw accessories.
As I mentioned in my recent Going Green-ish post, I like to use Dr. Bronners castille soap as hand soap and body wash. This stainless steel soap pump lid and adapter turns your mason jar into a soap dispenser. The lids come in a bunch of different colors to match your decor. (Did you know that mason jars also come in colors?) Here’s how it looks with a stainless steel top and a blue jar. There’s even a foaming dispenser if that’s your jam.
I’m also really liking this reCap pour spout lid which let you pour liquid or dry items cleanly from any size jar without dribbling. They come in four colors and in a regular or wide mouth configuration. I might have to get a couple more of these as I now want to use them for everything.
Another dandy tool (that you didn’t know you needed) are these“frog” lids that let you turn any jar into a flower vase, a toothbrush holder or a desk organizer.
From fermentation crocks to lighting to bartending gizmos there are too many cool products on the Mason Jar Lifestyle for me to list. You need to just pop on over there and check them out for yourself.
Thanks to the awesome team at Mason Jar Lifestyle, we’re giving the quart sized mason jar koozie and lid (pictured above) along with some metal reuseable straws, and a couple of other goodies to one lucky follower. To enter:
Every Tuesday I try a new product and post a (brutally honest) review. This is not an ad. I have received no compensation for this post.
