Mother’s Day is right around the corner and I’m back with a new list of favorite products and gift ideas that are great for the favorite woman in your life (and also for YOU)! And since we are all sheltering in place, everything can be ordered online. In fact, you can consider this your official 2020 Mother’s Day Gift Guide for Grownups – QUARANTINE EDITION.
You won’t find anything here that I was paid to endorse. I’ve personally checked out every single item in the 2020 Mother’s Day Gift Guide for Grownups. If it’s not something worth spending my own money on, I would never recommend it.
BeautyCounter All Bright Vitamin C Serum ($72) – A few weeks ago I was able to purchase and start using the new All Bright C Serum, and I quickly became OBSESSED. It gives my skin the most beautiful glow. I rub one pump on my face, neck and chest every morning and I’ve already seen a difference in my skin tone and texture. If you’re a new BeautyCounter customer, save 20% if you use THIS LINK and sign up for BeautyCounter emails.
Custom Bike Bell ($25 – $40) — My super-talented friend Molly makes custom bike bells. Check out her Etsy shop to see what she has in stock, but feel free to contact her as she excels at custom orders. Here’s the custom bike bell she made for me.
Restaurant Gift Cards — The restaurant industry is reeling right now and many local restaurants are struggling to stay afloat. Call your favorite spot (or your mom’s favorite). I bet they’d be delighted to sell you a gift card that can be redeemed once they re-open.
Branch Basics Starter Pack ($49 if you order with my discount code link) – This is the non-toxic cleaner I use for absolutely everything (kitchen counters, hand soap, laundry, mirrors, and even carpets). I sent the starter kit to my mom about a year ago and she absolutely loved it. I also just sent one to my son and daughter-in-law. Read my full review for all of the details and why I love it so much. Use this link to save $10.
BeautyCounter Hand Cream Trio – Everyone has dry hands right now. I bought several of these trios over the holidays and gave them as gifts. They’re travel sized, they smell great and they’re super moisturizing. And because they’re from BeautyCounter, they don’t include questionable ingredients.
MeUndies Loungewear ($18 and up) – I recently discovered MeUndies, a brand that makes underwear, lounge wear, T-shirts, socks and even dog bandanas. They’re super duper soft and they hold up through lots of washes. I like the wild prints but they also come in solids. Shipping is free and there’s a generous return policy if you don’t love what you order. Use my referral link for 20% off your first order: http://getcomfy.in/v/jill_7
Untamed by Glennon Doyle ($16) – I inhaled this book and immediately bought a copy for my mom. It’s a must-read memoir that will make you laugh, cry and think soooo hard about how we’ve been culturally programmed to be “good girls”. I also really love the Untamed Gear.
Sticky Note Packets by Emily McDowell ($12) – There are five different sticky note options. I’m partial to the Grown Ass Lady one (pictured here). But you need to see all of them because one is cuter than the next.
Washable & Reusable Face Masks by The Happy Givers ($18) – This is a weird time. I never thought I’d be recommending a face mask as a Mother’s Day gift. But guess what? We’re going to be wearing them for quite some time. For every mask ordered, The Happy Givers donates one, and 100% of the profits funds donations to people in need.
New CounterStart Cleanser and Moisturizer – These two new BeautyCounter products are less than $30 each, making the switch to safer beauty products a no brainer.
Downloadable Coloring Pages (FREE) – Having a daily creative process is a great way to manage anxiety. A box of colored pencils and these free downloadable coloring pages HERE and HERE and HERE make a terrific low-cost gift.
