I might be the only person in Colorado not complaining that it’s still HOT and that’s a title I wear proudly. I can feel touches of fall in the air, but I’m thrilled that we are still having temps in the high 80’s and my garden is going strong.
- Check out my Farmstand hydroponic garden (pictured below). When the weather cools off, I’ll clean it out, move it indoors (with grow lights) and continue to have fresh produce all winter long. I bought it 3+ years ago and its one of my all time favorite products.
- Speaking of favorite products, make sure you scroll down for this months “Things I’m Digging” roundup.
- Going to Las Vegas in August isn’t for the faint of heart, but my husband had a weekend conference and I decided to tag along. We stayed at the Fontainebleu (which is new and lovely) and packed a ton into 48 hours including a HIIT workout and a (failed) cartwheel attempt inspired by watching too much Olympics gymnastics. I’m looking forward to going back in Oct. with my kids to see The Eagles perform at The Sphere.
- Speaking of concerts, this weekend we saw Brandi Carlile perform at Red Rocks with the Colorado Symphony – what a wonderful evening.
- Finally, I’ve been hard at work all summer writing The Definitive Guide to Generation Jones. It’s a deep dive into the culture, fashion, products, and events that shaped those of us born between 1954 and 1965. Please check it out and let me know what you think.
Signing off with pumpkin spice and everything nice,
