Like a tropical vacation in a glass, piña coladas can be decadent and high-calorie. But don’t cut yourself off — skip the sugary mixes, break out the blender and try this cleaner and slimmed-down healthy collagen piña colada recipe. Or omit the rum and turn it into a healthy pina colada smoothie or mocktail.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 scoops collagen peptides or vanilla collagen
  • 46 ounces of light rum or pineapple rum
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • (optional) 2 small pieces fresh or frozen coconut. I like this one from Trader Joes.

Instructions

Place all ingredients in blender or food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.

Notes

For mocktail or a smoothie, omit the rum. You could also pour the mixture into popsicle molds and eat it for dessert. I like this frozen coconut from Trader Joes. It’s just 100% coconut with nothing else added.
