This #triedittuesday post is gonna be short and sweet. Every once in a while there’s a Shark Tank or “As Seen on TV” product that actually lives up to the hype. The Drain Wig is one of those products.
Long hair is supposed to be a thing of beauty, not a plumbing hazard. But the truth is that even the loveliest of locks can cause drains to clog.
Simply drop a Drain Wig down your shower drain (they also make a version that works for bathtubs) and it collects the hair and debris that blocks and slows down your drain. Every few months, just pull it out and replace it. It’s a hell of a lot cheaper than calling a plumber, safer than using toxic drain cleaners and way less gross than fishing out the hair with a coat hanger. (Trust me on that last point.)
And they’re dirt cheap. A two-pack on Amazon costs less than $8. It is also sold in Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond and The Container Store.
You’re welcome.

Every Tuesday I try a new product and post a (brutally honest) review. This is not an ad. I have received no compensation for this post.
